Research on Vulnerability in Urban African Populations
Dimension 1 - Difficulties in Income Generation
In Ouagadougou, the possibilities for earning an income are still small for populations that are not well-educated, especially women and youth.
Actions that need to be taken to resolve this problem include: increased access to credit, savings and professional trainings for urban populations that are poor and not well-educated, especially for women and youth.
Projects in Dimension 1:
Evaluation of Family Support of Children and Development/Children of the Sahel Program (2010-2014 – Funding: European Union)
